Here Come the Brides!

Mia and I have entered a contest, sponsored by Brides Magazine. The winning couple will travel to an all-expenses-paid honeymoon. Picture it: Fiji, 2012 or 2013. Two deliriously happy brides, toasting on the beach with tropical drinks.

But more than that, it would be a historic moment for Brides Magazine to award the honeymoon to TWO brides. And really, isn’t it in their best interest to support an event with two wedding gowns--double the brides, double the fun!

We’ve posted our proposal story online, and would love your help in voting for us. We are one of only two LGBT couples in the contest. If we do say so, our story is the best, and most touching. I mean, sure, other people might have dressed up as Pokemon and proposed in Pokemon language (whatever that is). But we have baby seals. We have two proposals. We have two girls!

But don’t just take our word for it--please read it and see for yourself!

This works like Dancing With the Stars: readers’ votes count, and so do judges’ opinions. But we need enough votes to get in front of the judges in the first place.

PLEASE vote for us by clicking “Love” or the Heart at the bottom of our story, and please Share via FB or Twitter with the links at the bottom (not the top). If Carson Kressley can vote for us (and he did, bless his heart!) then you can too!

Thank you in advance!

PS: Mia says that we’ve won already because we found each other, but we’d like your vote anyway. :)
