First Republicans Agree That It Gets Better (Finally)

Well, it’s taken a year, but Republican lawmakers have finally made an It Gets Better video.

Ten of the fifteen members of congress from New Jersey, including three Republicans, made the bipartisan video. Congratulations to them for doing the right thing, and shame on the five--two Democrats and three Republicans--who sat it out.

Rep. Frank LoBiondo, a Republican from South Jersey (who opposed repealing Don’t Ask Don’t Tell), got it right when he said: “In my view, anything that saves a teen's life is worth doing."

You can watch the video here.
